There have been many incarnations of Supergirl, the most current "Girl of Steel" is Kara Zor-El, Superman's cousin and last survivor of Krypton's Argo City. I am entering a coloring contest with this (the contest http://fav.me/d6kaxae)
I had to color these Super Girl inks I have done Supergirl before 3 times to be correct. So I am familiar with her. Although this is shading style is a first for Supergirl. From the entries I saw so far (I wish them all the best) I saw like the circle being the Sun or the Earth. Originally I was planing on doing Kyrpton but....well when I did it it looked like a giant green....it didn't look good to me so I went back to the drawing board and though well I like the texture of the planet just not the color then I thought Hey lets do the moon. Now it is a moon....added some shadow back there you know to add something.
